Become a space tech entrepreneur

DTU, Denmark’s leading technical university, has introduced a new Space Tech Entrepreneurship master’s specialization—the first and only accredited master’s program in Space Tech Entrepreneurship in Europe. This unique specialization allows you to develop your own space tech startup as an integral part of your degree, providing the perfect blend of cutting-edge education and hands-on entrepreneurial experience.

About the program
Study space tech entrepreneurship

SpaceTech Entrepreneurship is a specialization under the Earth and Space Physics and Engineering MSc program at DTU Space. The specialization mixes courses in space engineering and technology entrepreneurship, providing you with the qualifications to innovate new space technology and bring your product to market.

You will get a deep fundamental understanding of space technology through courses in Earth and Space Physics and Engineering. This program will provide you with the qualifications needed to invent new space technology and function as a CTO of your space tech start-up.

You will get a strong profile in entrepreneurship, with courses aimed at using your own idea to teach you the ins and outs of the entrepreneurial world. You will be able to test your entrepreneurial skills through innovations challenges and competitions such as DTU’s X-tech finals.

Throughout your studies, there will be multiple events to network and get support from key stakeholders in the space ecosystem in Denmark and Europe.

By taking the SpaceTech Entrepreneurship specialization, you can use your ETCS credits on projects and courses that directly support your startup idea.
